While we sympathize with commuters, we're personally not that worried because we plan on taking advantage of some of the great local deals and discounts businesses are offering to keep folks local. Traffic may be a disaster, so take this opportunity to explore your own neighborhood.

So our title is a little corny, but it's a big week for Spring holidays. So far we've celebrated Passover and now…get ready for it…Earth Day and Easter are coming up! Yes, we may be holiday junkies, but oh well. We're too busy checking out the fun events around town to worry about it.
Going back to school can be a big financial investment. We've already gone through application costs, so now we'll turn our attention to some of the big ticket items of attendance. Though these expenses can be significant, they should not deter you from enrollment. The whole point of gathering this information is to make school do-able for you. With a little preparation, you can budget better (or even get scholarships!) for an over-all less stressful experience.
If you somehow begged, borrowed, or redeemed your way into airline tickets, go you! Before you jet off, however, consider that there are many potential hidden costs of travel. Don’t be discouraged, be prepared. With a little planning, you could minimize unexpected outlays and have more dollars for straight fun.
Sometimes "I'm Sorry Officer" isn't enough. I was talking to this guy not too long ago and he was telling me about his $350+ in parking fines and how he was picking up extra hours at work to make it up. $350!! That's not small change. In some places, you could get ticketed and then towed immediately, putting you out a wad of cash and out of a car. Tickets can happen to anyone, but there are steps you can take to minimize the likelihood of it happening to you, and save yourself money and headaches in the process.
