Alt.Screenplay Workshop

Since 1969, Beyond Baroque has provided a free workshop and open-reading program as a gathering place for writers to develop their voice, find support, build communities, and experiment. Get in on the action and take advantage of he awesome FREE-ness. Chances are you'll even learn something. Make sure to bring copies of your work along for critique/help from some of the leaders on the scene.

Want to hear your prized baby screenplay read out loud? Tonight is your kind of night, my Indie screenwriting friend. Matt Byrnes hosts an evening of open-readings on a first-come, first-served basis. Make sure to bring only 1-10 pages of your baby, but with enough copies for each role (nobody likes having to share sides). Don't have anything? That's cool, just sit in and listen. Maybe you have some words of wisdom for Mr. Up+Coming Screenwriter!

Note to all: Make sure you're only bringing Independent Doc, Narrative, or Art films. Studios have people to give notes already, Matt is here to help Indie darlings.
