Everyone loves a Festival and the community of Leimert Park loves it so much they're at it again! Join them for the 2nd Annual Leimert Park Village African Art & Music Festival this Labor Day weekend. For three days they'll playing up the theme of "Community Counts" (and yes, they do it well, it's even in their logo!) so chances are, there'll be something for everyone, including:

*Exceptional FREE entertainment, including jazz, reggae, blues, R&B, & SpokenWord

*An exciting and lively Auction (bids start at an RFB friendly $1!)

*FREE activities for Children and Teens

*A juried Fine Arts & Craft Show

*An International Food Court

*plus a bunch of other stuff!

Union Bank will even do a bit to help educate the community on some new laws being passed affect your money. Plus they'll hook you up with a FREE auction paddle!

The cool thing about The Leimert Park Group is that they're not some big corporate-run deal; they really are community based. Their mission is to bring year-round cultural, artistic and educational programming to the Leimert Park Village and the surrounding areas under the banner of their general motto "Each One, Reach One, Teach One". Pretty slick, eh? Head over to the festival to see what the neighborhood is all about.
