Staying true to our ambition of throwing fun, innovative (yet simple) events for a cool cause, Cinema Charité is an idea as simple as they come: We pick a sweet cult film, screen it at a hip venue, throw in some drinks (naturally) and give a few bucks to a worthy cause.

This time around, we're screening The 'Burbs! The 1989 comedy classic is best known as the one and only cinematic union of Hollywood heavyweights Tom Hanks & Corey Feldman.

Our cause this time around is rehabilitation and rescue of birds affected by the oil spill and other disasters. We'll be giving 100% of the profits from your donations to California-based Int'l Bird Rescue Research Center, whose response team is on the ground in the Gulf as we speak.
