Byron & Cambria Free Wine Tasting

wtf los angeles is a fantastic new group dedicated to connecting local wineries with local folks through the awesome idea of super cheap wine tastings around the city. They are kicking of a summer of FREE EVENTS with an after-party bash for Santa Maria-based wineries Byron and Cambria (one of Cambria’s Pinots was the #1 wine of 2009 according to Wine Enthusiast magazine) on the rooftop of Hotel Erwin in Venice! There will be complimentary (that means free!) wine tastings from each winery, and you can hang out with winemakers Denise Shurtleff of Cambria and Jonathan Nagy of Byron.

Oh, and did we mention it costs NOTHING? Because it is. We know. Zero dollars for wine tastings of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay from the Santa Maria Bench – it’s nuts. As usual, there’s nothing normal or formal about this tasting. Stop by anytime between 7pm-9pm for the wine tasting, or come by after to hang with the winemakers from 9pm-11pm. There is a limited capacity and no list, so this is first come first swerve, like always.
