Free Archery Classes!

Sometimes, California offers crazy fun times. Sometimes, that includes pretending to be Robin Hood, complete with bow and arrow. If you've ever wanted to learn the basics of archery (or if you really miss old school summer camp activities) then you absolutely need to head out to Pasadena on a Saturday morning. Why? Because the Pasadena Roving Archers totally want to teach you some tricks. For two hours every week (barring rain) they'll be outfitting you with your very own bow and arrow and you'll have the opportunity to strike at some targets. (Please don't go after people, I'm betting they won't let you back on the range after that...)

Everyone over the age of 10 is invited and the first class is even free! There is a small donation for subsequent classes. The next time you show up, might we suggest a small $5 donation to keep equipment up-to-date? Make sure to bring water and wear sunscreen, along with layers of non-bulky but comfortable clothes. Definitely go with closed-toe shoes. And ladies (and gents), if you hair is long, tie it back. Could you imagine reaching for an arrow and getting it all stuck up in your hair? Party foul, indeed.

Also, make sure to get there early as the classes *do* fill up. Seriously, who wouldn't want to play a field with old school weaponry?
